The New York based multidisciplinary performance collective Artists By Any Other Name produces shows built on a foundation of classical music and contemporary dance, while also incorporating mediums such as poetry, drama, illustration and videography. With a growing repertory of original shows such as "Bitter Suite," "Love: Classical to Contemporary," and "Tango Translations," Artists By Any Other Name sheds new light on an old art form. As passionate educators, Artists By Any Other Name present lecture demonstrations and concerts for school children. As the ensemble in residence for Young Artist Exchange, they taught local and Chinese exchange students and performed in venues across South Australia including Adelaide Town Hall and Tantanoola Caves. Artists By Any Other Name has received generous funding from the Queens Council on the Arts and the City of Adelaide, among others.
